Peas of Heaven does plant-based sausages, burgers and meatballs. They wanted our help to highlight the fact that sausages (which are incredibly associated with meat) could actually be made from peas.

With the “Grow-Your-Own-Kit” containing pea seeds, a zip-lock bag and an envelope, you can grow your own sausage, from start to finish. Plant the seeds, wait three months, put the peas in the zip-lock bag, send them to Peas of Heaven, and wait for a sausage to appear at your doorstep.

The kit was covered in over 100 articles in 17 countries – and generated massive engagement on social media. The kit sold out in minutes and boosted the overall sales on the site with 10%. But most importantly: we proved that just about anyhting can be plant-based – and even home grown.
